This article will discuss how to clip continuous footage from play-based American football events into short segments and then how to tag those segments.
This article covers clipping of continuous football footage only
1) Navigate to your event from the OVERVIEW tab and select the OPEN IN EDITOR button.
a) Select CLIP VIDEO
2) Once clicked, this will open up a new window and allow users to open up the specific type of footage they would like to clip.
a) Select CLIP
3) Advantage's clipper tool will now open.

4) Navigate to the moment in time of the start of the desired clip
1) Users can use the time bar to fast forward to the desired beginning
2) Users can drag the slider on the timeline to the exact location as well.
b) Once located, click the START CLIP button the bottom right to beginning clipping that section of footage
c) Users will see the created clip appear in the column on the right side of the screen
d) Repeat for all desired sections (usually downs) in the game.
Once created, clips can be edited by clicking the three dots on the and click EDIT
5 ) Once completed, click the IMPORT ALL CLIPS button to import the clips into TAG MODE
a) Click YES to confirm the Import
5 ) Once clips have been imported, they can be viewed in the ADVANCED EDITOR.
a) Please allow a few minutes for the clips to process before appearing.
6 ) Filterable Tags can be added via the dropdown menu
