1.0  Introduction - S1 Camera Pairing

Camera Pairing defines the Cameras for Calibration, and additional actions by the CMS system, VPU Manager and Engineering Station.

1.1 Prerequisites for Camera Pairing: 

  1. Cameras need to be installed and defined in the VPU.
  2. CMS Account: User needs an account in the CMS system. 
  3. VPU Name: User needs to know the name of the VPU, the name is on a sticker on the VPU box.  The name is the last 4 digits on the S/N:




2.0  Steps for Camera Pairing:

2.1  Login into CMS

URL:  club.pixellot.tv/login.





2.2  Select the VPU: 



2.2.1  Select Inventory on the left side menu.


2.2.3  On the Upper Right Search Box, enter name of VPU (last 4 digits of S/N number).




2.2.4  Open VPU Manager:

- Click on  icon to open the VPU Manager.
- The following message will appear until the VPU Manager loads:


2.2.5  Pairing:



When the VPU Manager opens, click on Pairing on Left Side Menu.

2.2.6  Select Cameras:



A.  The Camera P/N (Part Number) should already be defined.

Note: Camera was defined when installed to the VPU at the site.

B. Click on APPLY. 

C. Click on SAVE & PAIR:  

D. The following Warning will appear, click on PROCEED.



E. The Cameras are PAIRED.

3.0  Actions to Perform After Cameras are Paired:



3.1  Now that the Cameras are PAIRED, the following action can be performed:


- The Camera details can be seen on Right side of screen, including Part Number (P/N), number of cameras, Calibration, Camera Type, Lens Type, FPS
- The Cameras can be Adjusted (ie Rotated), Calibrated and Color Adjusted.
