1.0 Introduction - Air Live

Instructions on using Air Live, to broadcast live events using the Pixellot Air system.  The Air camera can now stream live events 

1.1  Prerequisites:

  1. Camera is set up and connected with Ethernet Cable to LTA Modem or LAN.
  2. Minimum Network upload of 10 Mb/s.

2.0  Backend Setup - Pixellot CMS

2.1  Select Club




  1. Go to Pixellot CMS and select the Clubs menu option on the left side of screen.
  2. On Search Bar (upper right side of screen), type in Club name.
  3. Click on the Edit  icon.






  1. Add Venue to Club.
  2. Click on Save on bottom of screen. 
            





  1. Select Events from left side menu.
  2. Select the Create New Event button on lower right side.

2.4  Create Event:





Event "Start Time" must be scheduled from 30 prior to Game Time, and "End Time" to 30 minutes after expected game end.
  1. Select Club.
  2. Select Venue.  Note: The Venue is a Camera ID,  A customer who has more than one camera, needs to define the specific camera associated with the Event.  This needs to be defined correctly the first time, since it is difficult to modify afterwards.
  3. Fill in the remaining parameters: Start Date, Start Time, Teams, etc...   (note: It is recommended for Start Time and End Time to buffer the real start time and end time of the event by at least a half hour.  So if the event begins at 2:00 PM, then set Start Time for 1:30 PM.  If the event is expected to finish by 4:00 PM, then set End Time for 4:30 PM.)
  4. Click on Save on bottom of screen. 
            
Once Saved, the Event details are automatically uploaded to the Streaming Service.

3.0  Control App




B.  Select Camera Icon.  
C. The Recording Screen opens:




Note: The registration of the Camera to the Club and specific user, needs to be performed by Pixellot Support.

D. Click on Go Live.  
E. The Camera Operator needs to set up the Camera, and confirm that the Camera will not move during the Live Event, and press Confirm.  The Pixellot Air then calibrates the Camera.  If the camera moves during the event, there will be quality issues.  Click on CONFIRM to continue.



F.  Live Broadcast is then prepared. 

Note: End Viewer can exit App and return when the game starts.





G. At this point, it is recommended to check the network, to ensure minimum upload bandwidth.  10Mb/s






B.  The CANCEL LIVE can be pressed to cancel the live broadcast, and START LIVE to being live broadcast.
C. During Live Broadcast, the following screen will appear:  




D. If PAUSE LIVE is pressed, the following screen appears, where the Live Event can be terminated or resumed.




E.  If paused, the end users will get the following screen, stating that the Live Stream is Temporarily Unavailable.
